Cyber Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Engineer 2 (Cyber Security) to ensure a secure computing environment throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, install, maintain, and provide technical support for security strategies and product lines across various operating systems
• Implement and maintain security software systems and assist in managing third-party application patching and vulnerability scanning
• Review system logs for security issues, perform root cause analysis, and support incident response efforts

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• CISSP or equivalent certification preferred
• 3-5 years of related work experience in security-related or technical support roles
• Working knowledge of network systems security principles and applications
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Java, VBS) and/or SQL database skills
