Cyber Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Cyber Security Engineer, this role will design and implement technical vulnerability risk solutions to reduce operational, cyber, and resilience risks across complex cloud and enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer technical vulnerability risk solutions through architecture, automation, and control design
• Translate vulnerability risk requirements into implementable technical patterns and reference architectures
• Partner with platform, cloud, security, and SRE teams to embed risk controls into infrastructure and pipelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field; Master's Degree preferred
• 7+ years in engineering, security engineering, or technical risk roles with proven ability to design technical solutions
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management practices, including discovery, prioritization, and remediation coordination
• Strong understanding of risk in distributed systems and cloud platforms, with Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform
• Proficiency in programming and scripting, particularly in Python, and hands-on experience with cloud platforms like GCP and/or Azure
