Cyber Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support a dynamic Cyber Defense Organization, the full-time remote Cyber Security Engineer will architect and engineer scalable cloud-native SIEM solutions, develop robust data pipelines, and manage the lifecycle of the SIEM platform to enhance security posture and automate compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and engineer scalable, cloud-native SIEM solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code principles
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to ingest and normalize security logs from various endpoints
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define logging standards and embed security telemetry in the software development lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Systems, or a related field
• 6+ years of overall software engineering experience
• 2+ years of technical experience designing and maintaining scalable security data architectures
• Experience with cloud-native security platforms and managing platform health
• 2+ years of hands-on development experience on cloud-native platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform
