Cyber Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support day-to-day operations, the contract Cyber Security Engineer will manage and maintain IT security tools and systems, deploy and configure cybersecurity applications, and respond to audit requests, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Support the maintenance and management of IT and IT Security tools and systems
• Deploy and maintain systems, performing general system administration tasks
• Troubleshoot and remediate vulnerabilities on Windows and Linux systems

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role
• 3+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience with knowledge of enterprise security best practices
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
• Basic scripting ability (e.g., Ansible, Python, Bash)
• Experience with infrastructure management processes such as change management and configuration management
