Cyber Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support day-to-day operations, the contract Cyber Security Engineer will manage IT and IT Security tools and systems, deploy and maintain cybersecurity applications, and serve as a technical interface for customers while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Support the maintenance and management of IT and IT Security tools and systems
• Deploy and maintain cybersecurity applications, including troubleshooting Linux and Windows operating systems
• Contribute to internal engineering documentation and participate in daily operations briefings

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a large enterprise with a change management focused environment
• 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role
• 3+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience or a related role
• Strong understanding of troubleshooting Linux and/or Windows server operating systems
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices for system hardening
