Cyber Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support enterprise IT and cybersecurity infrastructure, the remote contract Cyber Security Engineer will manage day-to-day operations, maintain Linux and Windows environments, and deploy cybersecurity applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support maintenance of IT and IT Security tools and systems
• Deploy and maintain systems in collaboration with the ACI team
• Monitor daily ticket queues and respond to audit and hardening requests

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or related fields
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and enterprise hardening practices
• Basic scripting knowledge in Ansible, Python, Bash, or PowerShell
