Cyber Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance software security systems, the full-time Cyber Security Engineer will perform web application penetration testing, detect and remediate vulnerabilities, and manage incident response activities while collaborating with internal teams, with the flexibility to work remotely one or more days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software security systems, including performing web application penetration testing using tools like Burp Suite
• Detect and remediate vulnerabilities using scanning tools such as Nuclei, Qualys, and Nessus, while managing incident response activities
• Design and implement custom tools using Python and ensure the security of AWS cloud environments

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Two years of experience in software security systems and web application penetration testing
• Experience with Linux for penetration testing, including command-line operations and scripting automation
• Proficiency in using scanning tools such as Nuclei, Qualys, and Nessus
• Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification is required
