Cyber Security Engineer
Job Summary
To protect customer information and systems, the full-time Cyber Security Engineer will implement, configure, optimize, and administer LogRhythm systems while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and secure internal cloud environments for multitenant distributed LogRhythm deployments
- Create and manage Security Groups, EC2 instances, EBS volumes, and S3 buckets
- Serve as a technical escalation point for other SIEM engineers and maintain managed SIEM SQL and Elasticsearch databases
Required qualifications:
- Five years of overall IT experience, with at least two years in a Cyber Security Engineering role
- Expert level knowledge of LogRhythm SIEM components and 2+ years managing distributed LogRhythm deployments
- Foundational understanding of Cloud Security best practices in Azure and AWS
- Proficiency in Elastic Search and SQL, including query writing for searches and maintenance
- Strong automation background in Powershell, SQL, Bash, or Python
