Cyber Security Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer II to ensure the technological and digital security of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer tools and processes to secure technical areas and data, participating in security audits and developing risk mitigation solutions
• Identify potential threats or vulnerabilities, compile data, and create actionable intelligence based on analysis
• Investigate and resolve security incidents, providing guidance on security protocols and assisting with training on emerging threats

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Network, or Information Security OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in the same fields
• 2-3 years of proven experience as an IAM Engineer or in a related position
• Technical knowledge of IT applications, networks, and infrastructure components
• Basic knowledge of databases, LDAP, SQL scripting, and Windows/Linux scripting
• Familiarity with basic Python programming
