Cyber Security Engineer II

Job Summary

Supporting the rollout of the bank's Identity Risk Identification platform, the remote Cyber Security Engineer II will manage application onboarding into Veza, validate integration quality, and build queries to identify identity-focused risks across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with application owners to onboard applications into Veza and ensure accurate identity visibility
• Build and validate queries to identify identity-focused risks and maintain a library of reusable queries
• Document integration work and query development while ensuring auditability and operational continuity

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Network, or Information Security, or High School Diploma/GED and 8 years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with identity and access management concepts, including accounts, roles, and permissions
• Experience using ticketing and documentation platforms such as Jira, Confluence, or SharePoint
• Proactive approach to learning and a strong desire to grow in identity security and cyber risk reduction
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity risks, vulnerabilities, and control concepts
