Cyber Security Engineer II

Job Summary

Leading a team of threat intelligence analysts, the full-time Cyber Security Engineer II will proactively hunt for advanced threats, analyze cyber intelligence, and enhance the organization's security posture in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, build, and mentor a team of threat intelligence analysts while providing strategic direction for the threat intelligence function
• Collect, analyze, and disseminate cyber threat intelligence from various sources, including OSINT and SIEM
• Proactively hunt for advanced persistent threats (APTs) and develop automated workflows for threat detection and response

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5+ years focused on threat intelligence analysis
• Strong expertise in threat intelligence platforms, SIEM tools, and endpoint detection technologies
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and SQL for data analysis and automation
• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and indicators of compromise (IoCs)
• Security certifications such as CISSP, GCTI, or equivalent are highly preferred
