Cyber Security Engineer III

Job Summary

Ensuring the technological and digital security of the Bank, the full-time Cyber Security Engineer III will assess networks and systems for vulnerabilities, administer security tools, and resolve complex security incidents while working remotely from NC, AZ, VA, or TX.

Key responsibilities

• Administers security tools and processes, participates in audits, and develops risk mitigation solutions
• Identifies potential threats and vulnerabilities, compiles data, and creates actionable intelligence
• Maintains knowledge of emerging threats, provides guidance on security protocols, and leads technical projects

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience in systems engineering, networking, or information security technologies, or a high school diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience
• Working knowledge of federated authentication protocols, including SAML and OpenID Connect (OIDC)
• Demonstrated experience in automating repetitive security or identity tasks
