Job Summary
To enhance the disaster recovery and cyber resilience framework, the full-time remote Disaster Recovery & Cyber Security Resilience Engineer will focus on executing technical recovery processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, and improving recovery capabilities across the healthcare system.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain standardized technical recovery procedures for critical systems, ensuring operational continuity during technology or cybersecurity emergencies
- Implement and monitor compliance with the disaster recovery and cyber resilience program framework, including recovery procedure development and testing
- Coordinate and participate in disaster recovery and cyber security resiliency drills to assess preparedness and identify areas for improvement
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; master's degree preferred
- 5 years of relevant experience in backup and replication technologies used in healthcare
- 5 years of experience with incident response and coordinating recovery efforts during disaster events
- 5 years of infrastructure engineering experience focused on business continuity or cyber resiliency
- Proficiency with HIPAA Security, NIST, and other relevant healthcare regulations and standards
