Cyber Security SME

Job Summary

Serving as a Cyber Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a remote capacity, the full-time position will manage the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes for information systems, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies and procedures while briefing senior management on risk management framework progress.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis to develop cybersecurity strategies and solutions
• Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and evaluations across various IT frameworks
• Produce high-quality reports and deliver briefings to stakeholders and leadership on cybersecurity matters

Required qualifications

• Five years of relevant C&A experience, including Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST C&A experience
• Experience in assessing security controls and conducting authorization reviews for large organizations
• Must possess a Moderate Risk, Non-Critical Sensitive, Tier 3 (T3)/NACLC/ANACI clearance at the time of proposal submission
• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAM Level III
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
