Cyber Security Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to join their team supporting the Department of Veteran's Affairs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop project schedules and conduct SA&A activities in line with NIST and client guidance
• Coordinate and manage vulnerability and penetration assessments to identify control weaknesses and provide recommendations
• Review and generate SA&A and system documentation, and set up projects in eMASS meeting VA requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five years of experience in Information Security field
• Preference for IT security certification, such as CISSM or CISSP
• Proficiency in developing and managing SA&A packages, and experience with POA&M's
• Knowledge of Federal security regulations, standards, and processes
• Bachelor's Degree in security or related field of study
