Cyber Security System Administrator

Job Summary

To support the organization's IT infrastructure, the full-time Cyber Security System Administrator will manage and secure systems, deploy security tools, and collaborate with IT teams to enforce security policies, with the option to work remotely, hybrid, or onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain servers, networks, and IT systems to ensure optimal performance
• Implement security best practices for firewalls, antivirus software, and user access controls
• Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree or completion of a Computer Science Program preferred
• Minimum of five years' experience in IT and/or application development required
• Experience with network and application vulnerability scanners
• Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices
• Technical training with certification in assigned technology is required as applicable
