Cyber Threat Analyst

Job Summary

To support the EPA, the full-time remote Cyber Threat Analyst will collect, analyze, and disseminate information regarding potential threats to organizational information systems and networks while managing vulnerability assessments.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor threat feeds for new threats and indicators of compromise (IOCs)
• Analyze security data trends and anomalies to identify potential threats
• Generate reports on the threat landscape, including trends and mitigation recommendations

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence or a similar role
• Proficiency in searching with Splunk
• Experience with Defender and OSINT platforms/tools
• Strong understanding of TTPs, MITRE ATT&CK framework, and IOCs
• Must be able to pass a Public Trust clearance suitability determination
