Cyber Threat Analyst

Job Summary

Focusing on gathering and analyzing data from various systems, the full-time Cyber Threat Analyst will produce cyber insights to identify, contain, mitigate, and recover from cybersecurity threats and incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain correlation rules and alarming configurations for cybersecurity platforms, including SIEM and Threat Intelligence
• Support investigations of suspected cybersecurity events and analyze trends in complex data sets
• Visualize data insights and ensure relevant dashboards for the CISO and Security Operations are current

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant work experience or equivalent experience and education
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity threat modeling and advanced knowledge of cyber-attack techniques
• Ability to develop and maintain visualization dashboards using SIEM and other security platforms
• Deep insights into threat intelligence tools and techniques
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages for data integration and analysis
