Cyber Threat Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance digital investigations, the full-time Cyber Threat Analyst will monitor and respond to security incidents, create alerting rules, and manage automation security projects in a remote environment, preferably within the Eastern timezone.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security events and execute response actions to ensure fast resolution
• Continuously improve SIEM alerts and create new rules based on emerging cyber threats
• Conduct threat hunting activities and generate vulnerability management reports

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Tier 2 Cyber Threat Analyst
• Certifications: Security+ or CEH
• Proven experience with SIEM, playbook implementation, and threat hunting
• Familiarity with Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK methodologies
• Experience with multi-cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and strong knowledge of network protocols
