Cyber Threat Analyst

Job Summary

To support a multi-tenant Managed Security Services Provider environment, the full-time Cyber Threat Analyst (Tier 2) will lead complex investigations, perform incident response activities, and mentor junior analysts while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investigations involving various cyber threats, including malware and insider threats
• Perform incident response activities such as forensic triage, evidence collection, and post-incident reporting
• Serve as the primary escalation point for Tier 1 analysts during complex investigations and security events

Required qualifications

• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of cybersecurity experience, with at least 3 years in Security Operations Center or related environments
• Strong understanding of modern attacker methodologies and experience investigating cybersecurity incidents
• Experience operating enterprise SIEM platforms and EDR technologies
