Job Summary

A company in the Defense industry is looking for a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst.

Position Responsibilities

• Proactively analyze and defend against sophisticated cyber threats
• Investigate advanced threat actors and conduct proactive research on emerging threats
• Generate forward-looking assessments to guide decision making at the highest levels

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience in Security Operations or equivalent roles
• Experience with threat, vulnerability and exploit research, attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures used for threat hunting and creation of detections and mitigations on a large, enterprise network
• Experience with log analysis from multiple sources to identify and investigate security events and anomalies
• Experience with packet-level analysis and knowledge of TCP/IP protocols for investigating network traffic
• Knowledge of developing high fidelity detections in various tools/languages including but not limited to: ArcSight, OpenSearch, Elastic Stack, Suricata, Snort, Zeek, Bro
