Cyber Tools Lead
Job Summary
Focusing on the deployment, integration, and optimization of cybersecurity tools, the remote Cyber Tools Lead will manage the lifecycle of tools for monitoring and automation, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and collaborating with architecture teams on upgrades.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the maturity and optimization of cybersecurity tools, including scanning, SIEM, and log aggregation
- Ensure cybersecurity engineers align implementations with Department of State enterprise standards
- Coordinate with vendors and plan for tool integrations within production environments
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of engineering experience in cyber tools
- CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, or equivalent certification is required
- Preferred vendor-specific certification in tools such as Splunk, Tenable, or Elastic
- Strong knowledge of tool administration, APIs, log ingestion, and scripting
- A minimum Secret security clearance is required, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
