Cyber Underwriter

Job Summary

To support a growing cyber risk management model, the remote Junior Underwriter will manage and retain a critical renewal book of primary and excess Cyber, Tech E&O business while collaborating with security teams and developing broker relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Drive strong retention and rate adequacy across the renewal book of Cyber and Tech E&O accounts
• Actively incorporate security and technology signals into risk evaluation and pricing decisions
• Collaborate with security and technology teams to shape client engagement strategies and manage new business submissions

Required qualifications

• 2-4 years of underwriting or broking experience in cyber and/or professional liability
• Solid working knowledge of cyber insurance markets and coverage forms
• Professional liability experience (E&O, Tech E&O, Media, EPL), and/or Cyber experience
• Technical fluency in G-Suite
• Existing broker network or foundational understanding of cybersecurity and risk concepts preferred
