Job Summary

To support a complex Cybersecurity Program for the Department of War portfolio, the remote Cybersecurity A&A Subject Matter Expert will manage the implementation, assessment, and continuous monitoring of cybersecurity controls while providing expert guidance on the DoD Risk Management Framework and ensuring compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and support all phases of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle, including system categorization and security control assessment
  • Develop and maintain RMF artifacts such as System Security Plans and Security Assessment Reports
  • Conduct security control assessments and compliance reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented cybersecurity controls
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five years of experience in Cybersecurity Assessment & Authorization (A&A) or Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities within DoD or Federal environments
  • Demonstrated experience with the DoD Risk Management Framework and NIST SP 800-53
  • Must meet DoD 8140 workforce qualification requirements, including IAM Level III
  • Active SECRET Clearance and ability to obtain or currently possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance
