Cybersecurity AI Risk Engineer

Job Summary

Focusing on the technical security and risk management of AI systems, the full-time Cybersecurity AI Risk Engineer will work remotely to ensure that AI technologies are architected and operated with appropriate controls for data protection, model integrity, and compliance with governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform technical security testing and reviews of AI-enabled applications and workflows under established governance
• Implement security architecture patterns for AI, ML, and LLM systems across various environments
• Engineer secure inference paths and technical safeguards to mitigate risks associated with AI systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security architecture, or risk engineering roles
• Hands-on experience securing data pipelines, APIs, and cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of identity, access management, and secure system design
