Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst responsible for securing technology assets and providing technical expertise in network, system, and application security.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to security inquiries and incidents as part of the security operations center (SOC)
• Assess new and existing technologies for potential value and risk to the enterprise
• Identify improvement opportunities and provide recommendations to enhance IT processes and controls

Required Qualifications

• A two-year college degree or equivalent industry training, certification, and/or experience
• Two or more relevant certifications such as Security+, Network+, or CCNA
• Experience with enterprise-class technologies including firewalls, VPNs, and SIEM
• Prior experience performing security reviews and risk assessments
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and scripting languages like Powershell and Python preferred
