Job Summary
Taking ownership of the security program, the full-time Cybersecurity Analyst will manage risk assessments, design security strategies, and lead compliance initiatives while working remotely during standard business hours.
Key responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cybersecurity risk assessments and deliver prioritized remediation plans
- Design and implement the organization's overall security strategy and establish security monitoring processes
- Lead incident response efforts and manage compliance readiness for SOC 1 and SOC 2 audits
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 4-5 years of hands-on experience in IT-related projects, with 2-3 years in a dedicated security-focused role
- Proven experience in Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) and/or Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
- Familiarity with advanced Microsoft 365 and Azure security tools
- Strong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST CSF or ISO 27001
