Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Summary

To support system configuration audits and policy updates, the part-time Cybersecurity Analyst will primarily work remotely with occasional onsite presence in the Chicago area, focusing on data analysis, third-party security assessments, and service account clean-up in MS systems.

Key responsibilities

• Audit system configurations and assist with service account clean-up in MS environments
• Build audit schedules, perform data analysis, and participate in third-party security assessments
• Propose and implement changes to policies and configurations while coordinating with team members

Required qualifications

• Strong experience in MS M365/AD environments with technical proficiency
• Deep knowledge of best practices and policies related to cybersecurity
• Experience with NIST and CIS CSAT frameworks
• Familiarity with FortiEDR, FortiSIEM, and Fortinet firewalls
• Ability to work directly for any U.S. employer without third-party sponsorship
