Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Summary

Telecommuting from anywhere within the U.S., the full-time Cybersecurity Analyst will lead the onboarding of logs from newly acquired entities into Splunk, ensuring timely visibility and developing integration frameworks to enhance security compliance and detection strategies.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the onboarding process for logs into Splunk, including log source identification and data ingestion architecture design
• Collaborate with acquisition teams and IT to ensure comprehensive visibility and alignment with enterprise security use cases
• Develop repeatable onboarding playbooks and leverage AI tools to streamline workflows and automate tasks

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2+ years of experience in security engineering, SIEM, or data platform engineering
• 1+ years of experience with Splunk Enterprise and/or Splunk Cloud
• Experience onboarding logs from cloud platforms, network/security devices, and custom applications
