Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting federal information system security initiatives, the full-time Cybersecurity Analyst will design and implement solutions to protect sensitive information while conducting vulnerability assessments and security evaluations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as an information security expert in vulnerability assessment, risk assessment, and network security
• Design and implement solutions to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information
• Conduct testing and audit log reviews to evaluate and improve current security measures

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity
• Experience with RMF and applying the NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• Substantial knowledge of federal information system security policy and security control assessments
• Technical expertise in vulnerability assessment, risk assessment, and network security
• Solid understanding of NIST Special Publications, FISMA audit requirements, and IT audit requirements
