Job Summary
Focused on Threat Monitoring, Detection, Response, and Cyber Threat Intelligence, the full-time Cybersecurity Analyst I will manage security operations center activities, including threat detection, incident response, and maintaining security monitoring tools.
Key responsibilities
- Detect and investigate threats through various cybersecurity platforms and tools, determining appropriate remediation actions
- Perform incident response activities, including host triage, malware analysis, and documentation of incidents
- Assist in developing processes to enhance incident response times and overall SOC functions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience with relevant Cyber Security certifications
- Minimum of 3 years of direct information security experience within an Information Technology organization
- Experience working in a 24/7 SOC environment
- Relevant industry certifications preferred (e.g., CySA+, CCNA, GCIH, GCFA)
- Willingness to work outside of regular business hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
