Cybersecurity Analyst Internship

Job Summary

Pursuing a career in cybersecurity, the part-time temporary Cybersecurity Analyst Internship will assist the Vulnerability Operations team with mission reviews, vulnerability reports, and exploitation of real-world vulnerabilities while working remotely for a duration of six months.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the review and acceptance of missions, patch verifications, and vulnerability reports
• Bypass customer patch attempts and create suspected vulnerability reports
• Collaborate with experienced Computer Security Analysts to learn about complex vulnerability assessments

Required qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen due to Federal Government contract requirements
• Basic understanding of offensive cybersecurity topics and web application vulnerabilities
• Experience with coursework or participation in hackathons, CTFs, or offensive security labs
• Familiarity with the OSI model, TCP/IP, and CVSS scoring
• Enthusiasm for building a career in offensive cybersecurity and a positive attitude
