Cybersecurity and Infrastructure VP

Job Summary

Seeking a Sr Director or VP of Cybersecurity and Infrastructure to join a fully remote team, this role will advise security and technical clients on storytelling, market navigation, and credibility-building while managing strategic communications and media relations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic communication plans for cybersecurity and infrastructure clients
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear messaging for diverse audiences, including business and technical stakeholders
• Build and maintain relationships with media and industry influencers to secure earned media opportunities

Required qualifications

• 10-20 years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or journalism, preferably in cybersecurity or technical B2B sectors
• Strong understanding of the security and enterprise technology media landscape
• Proven ability to translate technical products and market shifts into compelling narratives
• Experience interfacing with C-suite and VP-level executives
• Exceptional organization and time management skills with a strong sense of urgency
