Job Summary
Serving as a Cybersecurity Assessment SME, the full-time remote position will manage the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes for information systems, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies and conducting vulnerability assessments within the Defense Logistics Agency program.
Key responsibilities
- Perform DOD cybersecurity processes for information systems undergoing authorization and serve as a subject matter expert
- Run and analyze system and software scans, developing and tracking Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) based on findings
- Brief senior management on the progress of information systems within the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process
Required qualifications
- Five years of relevant Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST A&A experience
- DOD cybersecurity experience with large, complex organizations
- Experience assessing security controls and conducting authorization reviews
- Knowledge of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and processes related to DOD implementation
- DOD Secret Clearance and IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3)
