Cybersecurity Assessment SME

Job Summary

To support the J6 Program Executive Officer's portfolio, the fully remote Cybersecurity Assessment SME will manage the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of cybersecurity processes, focusing on Assessment and Authorization of information systems while ensuring compliance with NIST 800-53 standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute DoW/DLA cybersecurity processes to authorize and maintain information systems
• Assess vulnerabilities and determine their impact on system authorization
• Brief senior management on the status of information systems undergoing the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process

Required qualifications

• Five years of RMF, C&A, and DoD cybersecurity experience
• Secret clearance with Tier 3/NACLC/ANACI
• IAM Level III certification, CISSP, and CAP
• Experience conducting authorization reviews and security control assessments
• Familiarity with NIST 800-53 and federal compliance frameworks
