Cybersecurity Assessment SME

Job Summary

To support the J6 Program Executive Officer's IT capabilities, the fully remote Cybersecurity Assessment SME will manage the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of cybersecurity processes, serving as a Subject Matter Expert for Assessment and Authorization of information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute DoW/DLA cybersecurity processes to authorize and maintain information systems
• Assess security controls in accordance with NIST 800-53 and determine residual risks of vulnerabilities
• Brief senior management on the progress and results of information systems undergoing the Risk Management Framework process

Required Qualifications:

• Five years of RMF, C&A, and DoD cybersecurity experience
• Secret clearance with Tier 3/NACLC/ANACI investigation
• IAM Level III certification, CISSP, and CAP
• Experience conducting authorization reviews and security control assessments
• Extensive knowledge of NIST 800-53 and FISMA compliance frameworks
