Cybersecurity Associate Director

Job Summary

Leading a team in a remote full-time capacity, the Cybersecurity Associate Director will build and manage an enterprise security posture and hygiene program, focusing on configuration drift technologies, AI integration, and continuous improvement of security controls across on-premise and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the strategy, roadmap, and governance for the security posture and hygiene program
• Manage a multidisciplinary team responsible for control assessments, remediation planning, and talent development
• Integrate AI-enabled tools to enhance continuous control monitoring and detect configuration drift and control gaps

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 9 years of experience, Master's Degree with 8 years, or PhD with 4 years in a related field
• Proven leadership experience in cybersecurity, particularly in managing security posture strategies
• Experience in implementing an AI security program within an enterprise setting
• Expert knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, operating systems, and security technologies
• Strong understanding of risk management principles and their integration into security practices
