Job Summary
Enhancing the university's cybersecurity posture, the full-time remote Cybersecurity Awareness Analyst will create and deliver comprehensive security training programs for students, staff, and faculty while collaborating with various stakeholders to promote a culture of security awareness.
Key responsibilities
- Designs, plans, and executes awareness campaigns and training programs to educate the university community on cybersecurity threats and preventive measures
- Conducts regular security awareness training sessions and evaluates the effectiveness of training programs through audits and feedback
- Collaborates with teams to ensure the dissemination of critical cybersecurity information and provides guidance during security incidents
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience in cybersecurity training and awareness
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, Human Resources Management, or Information Science
- Strong ability to develop and coordinate security awareness programs
- Knowledge of social engineering tactics and relevant security frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS Controls)
- Ability to assess program effectiveness and analyze trends in cybersecurity threats
