Cybersecurity Compliance SME

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cybersecurity Compliance Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, interpret, and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures aligned with security frameworks and federal requirements
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend strategies to address security control gaps and vulnerabilities
• Design and produce cybersecurity dashboards and reports to visualize compliance and risk data for stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in cybersecurity compliance, particularly in U.S. Government contracting environments
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Government cybersecurity regulations and standards such as NIST and FISMA
• Experience in supporting security audits and compliance reviews in federal environments
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with data visualization tools like Power BI
