Cybersecurity Data Security Specialist

Job Summary

To ensure robust data security across a global manufacturing enterprise, the full-time remote Cybersecurity Data Security Specialist will install, configure, and maintain data security software while collaborating with internal teams to manage vulnerabilities and monitor security alerts.

Key responsibilities

• Install and support anti-malware solutions, monitor alerts, and ensure compliance with security protocols
• Collaborate with various internal teams to manage data access permissions and provide security reports on sensitive data
• Monitor and remediate vulnerabilities by applying timely updates and managing data security hardware/software implementations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience with cybersecurity software installation and configuration
• Strong understanding of CIFS, NTFS, and network protocols
• Administrative knowledge of Windows Server and Linux OSes, including scripting capabilities
• Experience with SIEM tools and query languages, preferably KQL or SQL
