Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Detection and Response Analyst will monitor and respond to security alerts within a 24/7 Cyber Fusion Center, conducting in-depth analyses of security events to prevent and mitigate cyberattacks.
Key responsibilities
- Provide monitoring and detection/response services, working various 10-hour shifts, including weekends
- Leverage SIEM tools to query logs, correlate data, and detect security incidents
- Support incident response efforts and conduct threat hunting activities based on threat intelligence
Required qualifications
- At least 3 years of cybersecurity experience focused on Incident Detection and Response
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Experience with enterprise-level security technologies, including SIEM and ticketing systems
- Security certifications such as Security+, CYSA+, or equivalent
- Experience supporting large-scale incident investigations and collaborating with various cybersecurity teams
