Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cybersecurity and Cloud Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud security technologies, including Microsoft Sentinel and related tools
• Configure and mature cloud security tools to support risk mitigation efforts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess cybersecurity capabilities and recommend enhancements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of IT security experience, preferably in Microsoft Defender/Sentinel or cloud security engineering roles
• One or more certifications that meet or exceed DoD 8570 IAM Level II
• Hands-on experience with compliance frameworks such as RMF, FedRAMP, or Zero Trust Architecture
• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance
