Job Summary
Supporting the design and implementation of enterprise cybersecurity controls, the full-time Cybersecurity Engineer will work in Washington, D.C., focusing on Zero Trust initiatives, threat detection, and incident response while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the organization's security posture.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and optimization of enterprise security platforms across various environments
- Implement and maintain security controls aligned with NIST SP 800-53 and Zero Trust principles
- Monitor and respond to security events using SIEM and related technologies
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or related disciplines
- Experience with enterprise security controls and NIST cybersecurity frameworks
- Proficiency in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and multi-factor authentication
- Experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, and security monitoring technologies
