Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary

As a cybersecurity SME, the full-time remote Cybersecurity Engineer will lead the RMF process for platform accreditation, implement continuous security measures within DoD environments, and enhance the organization's security posture while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Leading efforts to achieve accreditation in accordance with NIST-800 series requirements
• Developing and implementing cybersecurity policies and controls to meet FedRamp and DoD standards
• Conducting risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate security threats

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in cybersecurity engineering within the DoD environment
• In-depth knowledge of NIST-800 series standards, particularly NIST-800-53
• Hands-on experience with security assessment tools and techniques
• Familiarity with software development methodologies, particularly Agile and DevSecOps
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
