Job Summary
As a cybersecurity SME, the full-time remote Cybersecurity Engineer will lead the RMF process for platform accreditation, implement continuous security measures within DoD environments, and enhance the organization's security posture while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Leading efforts to achieve accreditation in accordance with NIST-800 series requirements
- Developing and implementing cybersecurity policies and controls to meet FedRamp and DoD standards
- Conducting risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate security threats
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in cybersecurity engineering within the DoD environment
- In-depth knowledge of NIST-800 series standards, particularly NIST-800-53
- Hands-on experience with security assessment tools and techniques
- Familiarity with software development methodologies, particularly Agile and DevSecOps
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
