Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary

To strengthen security operations in a healthcare setting, the full-time remote Cybersecurity Engineer will detect and respond to security threats, improve endpoint visibility, and automate protection measures across the environment.

Key responsibilities

• Detect, investigate, and respond to security threats across endpoint and server environments
• Lead incident response activities, including investigation and remediation
• Partner with IT teams to enhance patching, vulnerability management, and system hardening

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience or a minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in information technology
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT operations
• Hands-on experience with endpoint security and management platforms
• Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, or similar) to automate tasks
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and enterprise environments
