Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary

As a mid-level role, the remote Cybersecurity Engineer will manage the vulnerability management program, collaborate with development teams on secure architecture, and oversee the crowdsourced bug bounty program to enhance the organization's security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end vulnerability management program, driving remediation and validating vulnerabilities using various tools
• Manage and triage the crowdsourced bug bounty program while monitoring external security posture ratings
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure secure coding practices and participate in threat modeling for new features

Required qualifications

• US citizenship is required
• 3-5 years of experience in a technical cybersecurity role
• Strong familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 and web application security testing
• Proven experience with enterprise vulnerability scanners and cross-functional remediation efforts
• Foundational knowledge of AWS and securing cloud-native applications
