Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing cybersecurity infrastructure, the full-time Cybersecurity Engineer will design, implement, and maintain security solutions using Microsoft security tools and Azure, while working remotely during PST hours.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, implement, and troubleshoot cybersecurity devices and tools across the enterprise environment
• Monitor and optimize the performance of cybersecurity tools and conduct capacity planning for infrastructure
• Lead investigations and documentation of security incidents, while collaborating with IT and business teams to resolve issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 3 years of relevant hands-on experience
• Approximately 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, including familiarity with Microsoft security products and Azure
• Experience with SIEM installation and maintenance, network administration, and cyber incident response
• Ability to work PST hours and attend evening meetings as needed
• Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and security metrics/reporting
