Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time salaried Cybersecurity Engineer will implement and maintain cybersecurity technologies, monitor security events, respond to threats, and collaborate with IT and Engineering teams to enhance the organization's security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security tools to identify threats and assist with incident response activities
• Conduct vulnerability scans and coordinate remediation efforts with technology teams
• Administer identity and access management processes, ensuring compliance with organizational policies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field and 3+ years of relevant experience, or 5+ years of experience in related technical roles
• Experience with enterprise security technologies and security operations processes
• Hands-on experience with security monitoring tools and vulnerability scanning solutions
• Knowledge of incident response frameworks and security best practices
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts and modern technology environments
