Job Summary

Supporting the development of AI-enabled applications, the Cybersecurity and Governance Engineer will work on-site, hybrid, or remote to lead Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, implement Federal security requirements, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity governance standards.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead RMF lifecycle activities, including control selection, implementation, assessment, and authorization for Federal information systems
  • Engineer and implement security controls across cloud and enterprise environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Support continuous monitoring processes, track vulnerabilities, and manage security documentation and authorization artifacts
Required qualifications
  • Expertise in Federal cybersecurity governance and NIST 800-53 RMF processes
  • Proven experience with FISMA, continuous monitoring, and security assessment and authorization (ATO)
  • Strong skills in cloud security controls, including identity and access management and vulnerability management
  • Master's Degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Security+ are highly desirable
