Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary

Independently executing defined security engineering and operational work, the full-time remote Cybersecurity Engineer will manage endpoint security, troubleshoot identity and access controls, and monitor alerts within various security platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage endpoint security and compliance activities across multiple operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux
• Administer and troubleshoot identity and access controls, including account provisioning and authentication issues
• Monitor and analyze alerts within SIEM and EDR platforms, performing initial triage and escalating complex findings as necessary

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in enterprise IT, security operations, or a related technical field
• Hands-on experience with endpoint technologies and security tools across various operating systems
• Working knowledge of identity and access management technologies, including Active Directory and MFA
• Experience with vulnerability management and reviewing technical logs for troubleshooting
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation tasks
